This is an independent, selective, and canon divergent roleplay blog for Olivia Octavius / Doctor Octopus from Spiderman: Into The Spider-Verse and heavily crossed over into Spiderman 2. Featuring several different verses/interpretations of my own creation.

I’m slow. It’s just a fact. I'm very active on Discord, and I'm always down to plot there.

I will always softblock, never just unfollow. I try to keep my dash very clean and stress free. I don't do it often, but when I do, I will always soft block and not just unfollow. It's never personal if we were once mutuals and I ended up unfollowing.

I will not be reblogging callouts of any kind. Individuals called out for being harmful for the community will be blocked accordingly, but other than that, I leave it be.

I have quite a few verses available and I'm always down for crossovers. A large part of my blog is exploring Olivia across different universes, and fleshing out her portrayal in those worlds. Even I don't have a verse for your muse's specific fandom, I likely have one that can fit the setting.

I'm definitely open to shipping, but as I'm still developing Liv, it's not a high priority of mine.

I have absolutely no comics knowledge and will be writing solely in film canons.

Having been born in the Bronx exactly thirteen months before her brother, Olivia Octavius lived a wonderful childhood in Queens, New York. The siblings, often wrongly mistaken for twins, had been inseparable their entire lives. Liv and Otto's love of science was heavily encouraged by their parents. Supporting their endeavors, that ultimately led to impressive MIT scholarships.

MIT was kind to the Octavius siblings. From bonfires with friends, to sneaking into labs to build realistic lightsabers, and even Otto sparking a love with Liv's original roommate, Rosie, they lived it up well in Boston.

However, Liv's studies were postponed a year, following a failed experiment that resulted in falling from a window, her shattering her leg on impact. She lived back in Queens with her family, healing and continuing what studies she could while bedridden. Ultimately returning the following year to graduate in the same class as Otto.

The two went on to have successful science careers. Otto partnering with Oscorp, and Liv's creation of Alchemax. Ultimately leading Liv to help with Otto's creation of the fusion reactor. Liv was not present at the activation - thus, she was not able to catch a single digit error, that would result in the accident that led to Rosie's death, and ultimately Otto's.

Olivia lived in unconsolable grief for months, unable to function or leave her home. Once on her feet again and slowly working again she was approached by Wilson Fisk. In need of a scientist and sharing a mutual disdain for Spider-Man, who Liv wrongfully blamed for the death of her brother, she was persuaded by Kingpin to begin working for him.

Ultimately, Olivia began years long love affair with Vanessa Fisk. Shortly after Wilson's discovery of the relationship, Vanessa and their son Richard were thought to be dead in a car accident. Though consumed in grief of his own, Kingpin using this to his advantage to further blackmail Olivia into building his collider; blaming her for Vanessa's death, as the pair were en route to Olivia, ready to leave him once and for all. Liv, with those she loved most dead and feeling as if she only had herself to blame, continued her research under his close watch.

It's during this time that Liv would decide to reclaim the mantle that the media had forced upon her brother: Doc Ock. Expanding upon the design once inflicted upon her brother, Liv would use the arms as an extension of herself. Primarily using them to increase mobility.

Years would pass, and with the success of the collider imminent, there was only one thing standing in their way: a couple of overgrown spiders.

Then, no one was left standing. Most of the Spider-Gang having gone back to their own universes — and then there was Liv. Hurdling across the multi-verse at the rate of a flying semi-truck, she finds herself in New York. But not her New York. Signs reading about Peter Parker and Spider-Man, but bearing a much different face.

The collider had seemingly worked, a portal opened somehow, but at a price. Her leg had been injured beyond repair as a result of the truck. Olivia having to make the decision she had been avoiding all of her life: she'd have to replace it.

Having found a lab, Olivia manages to amputate her leg and construct a new high tech prosthetic. Once healed, she puts forth her plan to discover as much as possible about the reaches of the Multi-Verse.

That's until a newscast shows a familiar, long dead face fighting against Spider-Man on a bridge.

Unlike the masses thought, the collider had worked. The original target of the collider, Vanessa Fisk, was not actually dead. Instead, having been put into witness protection after the accident. The collider, not able to bring back someone who was not dead, instead targeted the next choice within the mind of the creator: Otto.

LIV'S MAIN STORY FROM BEYOND THIS POINT CONTAINS NO WAY HOME SPOILERS AND IS STILL IN THE PROCESS OF BEING PLOTTED. PLEASE STAY TUNED FOR MORE.

December 10th, 1968 — Born in Bronx, New York

January 10th, 1970 — Younger brother, Otto Octavius, is born in Bronx, New York

Mid-1970 — Octavius family moves to Queens, New York

1985 — Olivia begins college at MIT, being roommates with Rosie for her freshman year

1986 — Otto attends freshman year of MIT, becoming roommates with Olivia

1987 — Olivia falls from a window at MIT, resulting in a terrible injury to her leg and her having to return to Queens for the year.

1988 — Olivia returns to MIT and completes her senior year of college in the same graduating class as Otto.

2004 — Otto and Rosie pass away. Aligns with the events of Raimi's Spider-Man 2.

2005 — Olivia is persuaded by Kingpin to begin working for him; ultimately resulting in meeting Vanessa, who she begins a years long affair with

TBD — Vanessa's "death" further pushes Kingpin to manipulate Olivia's grief, and work on the collider begins.

2024 — Olivia's collider is successful, but results in her falling through a portal to the MCU timeline. Aligns with the events of Dr. Strange's spell in No Way Home.
